
US rapper, Meek Mill has announced his desire to obtain Ghanaian citizenship, citing the oppression of black men in America as his primary motivation.
The Philadelphia-born artist, who recently faced allegations involving his segxwality and a supposed relationship with Diddy, took to Twitter on March 5, 2024, to make the declaration.
He expressed his intention to pursue dual citizenship in Ghana, highlighting his belief that Africa does not have the same challenges faced by black men in America
Expressing his sentiments, he wrote, “I wanna get citizenship in Ghana!!! America made to tear black men down if you don’t follow orders!”
“Africa don’t got this shit I’m getting dual citizenship if they let me!,” Meek wrote in another tweet.
