
In a swift response to a robbery incident, the Lagos State Police Command has apprehended two suspects, Musa Ibrahim, 30, and Ibrahim Danjuma, 22, who allegedly robbed a woman in her shop in the Imude area of Ojo Local Government Area.
The arrest was confirmed by the Command’s Public Relations Officer, SP Benjamin Hundeyin, in a post on X.com on Sunday.
SP Hundeyin detailed the incident, stating, “Musa Ibrahim and Ibrahim Danjuma carried out a robbery attack on a woman in her shop around 11 p.m. in the Imude area of Ojo LGA. The police were alerted, and a patrol team from Ilemba Hausa Division swiftly responded to the call.”
The suspects were captured with the assistance of community members. A locally made firearm was also recovered during the arrest. SP Hundeyin emphasized the importance of community involvement in ensuring safety, noting, "Indeed, security is everyone’s business."
This incident highlights the ongoing efforts by the Lagos State Police to combat crime and ensure the safety of residents.
