The Presiding Bishop of the Living Faith Church Worldwide, David Olaniyi Oyedepo, has called on young people to rely on divine guidance for achieving true success and stardom. Speaking during the impartation service at the church's Annual Youths Alive Convention (AYAC2024) on Saturday, Bishop Oyedepo emphasized the importance of seeking God’s plan rather than following one’s own desires.
In his address, Bishop Oyedepo cautioned against making plans without first consulting God, stating, "Don’t pack your bags and then ask God if you should go. Don’t tempt God. Instead, seek God’s plan for your life—it's already blessed."
He stressed the need for youths to separate themselves from the distractions of the world to hear God’s voice clearly. "We live in a noisy generation," he said, urging young people to find quiet places where they can connect with God. "You need an ornament of a quiet and meek spirit to hear God speak. One must be in the spirit to hear the voice of the spirit, and one must be spiritual to embrace the voice of the spirit."
Bishop Oyedepo further explained that accessing the voice of God is the key to achieving greatness. "Staying where God says you should stay and doing what God says you should do is what guarantees your stardom," he noted. "The voice of the Lord is in the Bible, and following what God says makes you a frontrunner in your chosen career."
He also highlighted the power of God’s voice in providing supernatural victory, favor, and confidence. "If you hear from God, you become fearless and unstoppable," Bishop Oyedepo said. "The reason you shake is because you didn’t hear from God. You can’t hear from God and lack confidence."
Bishop Oyedepo’s message was a powerful reminder to the youth to prioritize spiritual guidance and to trust in God's plan as the surest path to success and fulfillment in life.
