Atalanta and Super Eagles forward Ademola Lookman has been ranked as the 14th best player in the world as released by Ballon d’Or.
Lookman finished in the top 20 ahead of Arsenal winger Bukayo Saka, Chelsea's Cole Palmer

A ridiculous decision, if judged purely on technical skills and output. How can Lookman be better than Foden? Fair enough that Cole Palmer, a youngster has only just come onto the scene. In pure footballing terms, Lookman isn't in the top 200 best players in the world. He only got this award on the technicalities of being the most influential player in his teams run-in and winning of the Europa cup. Congratulations to him though. He has to accept it.
