The very tense moment when alleged "Fulani" kidnappers ambushed travelers in Enugu has been captured on video by one of the passengers.
In a video shared online, travellers are seen lying in the middle of the road. Some are heard breathing heavily in fear.
One woman screams in a panicked voice, "Stay in the car. Go and lie down flat."
"Currently facing kidnappers," the video caption read.
Another video shows travellers lying down dangerously close to the tyres of a truck while the suspected kidnappers approached a bus and its occupants.
The man who filmed the incident gave the update, writing: "We have been retrieved from the Fulani guys and with the police now. Location Orji River, Enugu State."
