Reality Star, Porsha Williams Speaks Out as Estranged Husband Simon Guobadia Faces Deportation

American reality star Porsha Williams has broken her silence following the detention of her estranged husband, Nigerian businessman Simon Guobadia, by U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE). 

According to *Us Weekly*, the 60-year-old is currently being held at Stewart Detention Center in Lumpkin, Georgia, as part of a broader immigration crackdown under President Donald Trump’s administration. Records from the U.S. Department of Homeland Security confirm his detention. 

Williams, who is currently in the process of divorcing Guobadia, addressed the situation on Instagram, expressing her disappointment.

“It’s disheartening to see my estranged husband make choices that have led to this outcome. At this moment, my priority is moving forward with my family,”
the 43-year-old wrote. 
Guobadia first moved to the U.S. from Nigeria in 1982 but allegedly overstayed his visa and was declared deportable in 1985. He was later arrested in 1987 for bank and credit card fraud, facing additional legal troubles before being deported in 1992. However, he reportedly re-entered the country just a month later. 

His detention has sparked widespread discussions, especially given his high-profile marriage and recent legal battles with Williams.

He overstayed his visa.
Arrested 1987 for bank and credit card fraud.
Deported in 1992 and reentered the country just a month later.
High profile marriage for a fraudulent residency.
He should be glad that he is not sent to GITMO while awaiting deportation.
