Stop insulting Oyo people’s intelligence, Ajimobi tells Alao-Akala

Action Congress  of Nigeria (ACN) gubernatorial standard-bearer in Oyo State, Senator Abiola Ajimobi, has asked the incumbent governor of the state and Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) candidate in the forthcoming elections, Governor Adebayo Alao-Akala, to stop insulting the intelligence of highly educated people of the state by his claim that he had made landmark achievements in the area of education, which he (Ajimobi) and former governor of the state, Alhaji Lam Adesina, should acknowledge him for.

He made this remark in a statement issued by the Director of Publicity of his campaign organisation, Mr. Yanju Adegbite.

According to Ajimobi, the educational level he envisaged for the people of the state if elected governor was way out of the class of “what Governor Alao-Akala pieced together and he calls educational advancement.”

The senator said that because he valued education and had advanced up to the standard of education that was comparable to none in the world, he would give quality education that would be a reference point in even developed countries of the world if the baton changes and he became the governor of the state.
