the laws of certain nations as regards to drug is very harsh considering the fact that,according to them they have a zero tolerance for drug traffickers.a country like saudi arabia have a logo flying high at the entrance of riyadh international airport saying "the penalty for drug trafficking is dealth".now,you are to ask yourself this question before travelling to these nations can i live with that(death sentence if caught with drugs).if you cant its best you resort to other nations with less penalty for drug trafficking which i very much doubt the least you will get from some countries is life imprisonment if not death sentence.
having said that,let us rule out ethnic discrimination from our minds.whether its been done by an igbo,edo,hausa or ijaw individual is not the issue here.he was labelled as a nigerian in vietnam and not an igbo or whoever.i wonder how we take to such notions back in our own country by discriminating and segregating ethnic/tribal groups painting some to be better off to others.what is it with the "holier than thou" syndromised virus attitude ravaging some of our brain...?yet if a white say something about black we are very forward to label the white as a racist aren't we practising the same racism back home....?let me term it ethnic/tribal racism.do i get to say i smell some if not most of us as hypocrites,we cant even practicalise what we talk about in terms of racism or discrimination which ever name you prefer to call it.leave tribe,ethnic group,dialect sect or whatever out of the equation and face the prospect of what happens to the image of our nation.
now,it gives me the shivers of a big shock wave that my people always blame govt about some of my people's misfortune outside our country's shores.did our country sent you to these nations to do drug or engage yourself in criminal and offensive activities...?why not engage yourself in these acts of THIRST and QUEST in SEARCH for vast WEALTH in our own country instead of going to other nations to commit these crimes and if you are are caught you start raising ophobic sarcasm and invidious comments about the govt of that nation that they are wicked or whatever.let me ask you this question is our country nigeria better off to these nations.....?if you say yes,then you are far from the modern trend and if you say no i will consider you as a four sighted individual therefore choose carefully.back in our homeland(nigeria)several states or should i say most are fond of burning to death people caught in theft activities even before the cops will come to the scenario others will be beaten to death.imagine the type of demented mentality ruling people involving in such act its a crime in the face of the law to kill someone and to set someone ablaze on fire is a first degree murder for some countries.so what are we saying or what are we not saying......?
many states in nigeria are fond of executing people for firing squad and others but nigeria will never put this on news media or paper for you to see.the only reason why we are able to comment on this vietnam issue is because they put it on their news media/papers.if they did not air it for you and i to see how will we know about it....?let me tell you guys something here i have a childhood friend who is very rough and he is a recidivist he planned a plot alongside with 25other nigerian nationals to rob an alhaji man who was paid several millions of naira by a chinese company to supply them gold.how the hell did they get such information i dont know,they travelled to kaduna and stole the money from the alhaji but they were later caught in their hotel room 24 of them were caught while 2others escaped with bullet injuries.they were taken to station and after several months of battling on how to bail him out all proved to be abortive to no avail.his elder brother was even lucky,he said he was almost thrown into prison for wanting to bail his brother out.this friend of mine was later sentenced to death by firing squad alongside with the other 23boys in november 2008 but i forgot the exact date.but kaduna did not put it in their news media/paper for people to know about this.is this not the same thing that vietnam did to our national that nigeria is doing to her own national..?even the so called usa that is the most democratic free nation on earth still sentence people to death yearly most especially by lethal injection.investigate and find out for yourself.

Under the Shari'a penal code that applies to Muslims in twelve northern states, offenses such as alcohol consumption, homosegxwality, infidelity and theft carry harsh sentences, including amputation, lashing, stoning and long prison terms.

however,we must not forget that vietnam is a communist state and trying to pass a message to them about forgiveness as to a crime committed by our national is not going to be easy.but the nigerian ambassador to vietnam can still intercede on behalf of the nigerian govt to tell vietnam not to execute him.yes they will stop but the big question is will nigeria agree to pay the price given to them by the vietnamese govt to free their national....?nigeria can pay heavy sum of money to vietnamese govt and tell them to fake the death sentence of the man in the eyes of the public and he will be secretly extradited to nigeria and we can take it from there in our own country as to his faith decision.but ooh no, the nigerian govt is too corrupt and inhumane to even do such they will tell you who sent him there and say other bullshits.take it or leave it nigerian govt does not love her citizens the way other nations do.like usa,britain,france and others.i pray that GOD should forgive him.

my fellow nigerians and other humans on planet earth should always do their best possible to make sure and ensure that they weigh the impacts of what they intend to do  both positively and negatively.we all should look before we leap(a word is enough for the wise)
