Fortunately, I am married to someone who cooked for me while we were dating. Supposing I date a girl who won´t cook for me; Well, it´s no quarrel, she only need to tell me the reason for her decision. Although, she will send wrong signals if I have better plans ahead for the relationship. A school of though will be she does not know how to cook, which is a problem especially when kids come into the relationship or she refuse to cook which also MAY be a problem which means am in for a lot of surprises. I do not see cooking as a big issue anyway, I can cook and most men can if they really want to. Reply

giftmurphy and bittersweet: You are wrong by your assertions. African men treasure and adore their women more than any other men in the world. African men easily accept their women's weaknesses. We cover up the short-comings of our wives, we even keep their bad behaviors from the neighbors. ReplyI have lived abroad for 19yrs. Women out here (in the western world) are often verbally abused; they are usually re-baptized with all kinds of derogatory names unfit for human being. Women in the west are subjected to hard work and only accepted by what they could bring to the table, whereas in Africa, most women are provided for. African men go the extra miles to make their women look good and look well kept, in big mansions, big cars, expensive wrappers, jewelry etc. African women are usually treated as precious jewels by their men. The economy might be hard on the men now, but that is the culture everybody knows of African men. All the humble and peaceful women in African have always found solace in the comfort of good homes and good men as their providers. Blessed are the meek for they shall inherit the earth, they shall be well rewarded, they shall have peace, they shall be loved and shall be adored by good African men. The base women shall find no mercy with African men. This is the gospel of one good turn deserves another in return. If only cooking food for the home would help a woman grab a good man for herself, then you be the judge.

If only cooking food for the home would help a woman grab a good man for herself, then you be the judge. Women work and are bred winners too, some even more than men,so there should be an agreement between them in sharing the responsibilities in the house! And now I'm referring at married couples! For the unmarried ones, if they don't live together (and it's normal so),why would the guy expect her to cook for him? That's absurd! In her free time, if she wants to make him a surprise, she can do some of his favorite dishes, but only from time to time, and because she feels so,not because the guy demands it or something! Live and let live!
