How was the first few months of your Relationship

I often wonder what changes after a girl says YES to a guy (agrees to be in a relationship with a guy)

I saw a guy at a friends party though we didn't talk, few days later the celebrant called my phone to tell me the guy really likes me
i thought it can't be right (as i don't know the guy but he likes me)
after talking and pleading i told my friend to give the guy my number (no harm right)
The guy called, we talked and after few days, went to his house
We went to the movies (All this happened last year 2010).........................

2011 so far
we hardly see each other (i get it if he is studying for his exams) after his exams we still don't see eye to eye
when we do plan to see each other something comes up (on his side)
"i have to do something for my cousin" blah blah blah
Come Vals day he had to work (i get) but after Vals  day still nothing "no present not even a card"
I could go on but so far WHAT DO Y'ALL THINK

Nothing
we saw each other, talk just like anyone in a relationship
Until this year we began to see less of each other 5times  (Jan 2011 till date)
