Look at dem..... is Italy not a developed country where PROSTITUTION IS NOT A CRIME?., y didnt they go to italy to make a documentary. ReplyI am an Edo girl, a PROUD one for dat matter. I dont much blame these girls for the kinda lifestyle they had to choose, dem Condition naim make crayfish bend. im not sayin prostitution is d last answer though. When d rich nd Agbada men patronize these young ladies ....so its a u scratch ma back, i scratch ur back tin. If dese girl had a chance for a better education nd 85% --possibility of gettin a gud job thereafta , none of dem would seek prostitution as d last answer. I ONLY PRAY FOR GODS INTERVENTION SO THAT OUR LEADERS EYEZ WUD BE OPENED TO SEE THE IMPORTANCE OF SERVICES THAT SHLD BE RENDERED TO HUMANITY IN DIS COUNTRY: more so, pipl also do wat dey do cause of self- centeredness... e.g, dat guy dat sold his own flesh nd blood fro about 200,000 Wat a blessed but still poor country,............. ![]()

Quote from: ajaxoo1 on 18-08-2011 05:22 PM Dont let these white people continue to fool you guys. They drove by lots of prostitutes in their country on their way to the airport to come to Nigeria, they never stopped and do documentary about their own young prostitutes. They just like to make Nigeria look bad. Dont get me wrong, prostitution is not good but people will do it anyways wether black or whites. In the video, they drove by nice roads in Benin but never said anything good about it, Instead they went to village where they road is bad and started condemning Nigeria. We have our problem and they have theirs. They should stop portraying Nigeria's bad images all the time. Prostitution has always been in existence all over the world. It was even during the time of jesus Christ and it will continue to be. It doesnt have anything to do with poverty. The rate of prostitution in U.S and other developed countries is 100% higher than Nigeria. Even within the underage girls. Its individual's choice. Lets us all train our children in the way of the lord and continue to pay for them. abi ohhhhhhhhhhh , tell dem oh let dem hear. even in Germany there are girls who actually have a well payin job afta deir schoolin but due to "d money isnt enuf for me to take careof ma xpenses" they go into prostitution daily----------no one comes to them to say y did u leave ur job to go into prostitution nd dese idiots are comin tu 9ja for disssss........

Quote from: aisha89 on 18-08-2011 07:06 PM Quote from: tundamartin on 18-08-2011 12:36 PM What the heck wrong with Edo girls that they always fall prey for these human traffikers? Is it greed or what? Despite this sad story coming from Italy, you wont be surprised to learn that many more girls are willing to go 'abroad' instead of looking for Nigerian Mr Right and settle down. WAT DID U KNW!? BLA BLA BLA, IS IT ONLY EDO GALS THAT PROTITUTE IN ITALY? DNT JST TALK ANYHOW DEAR, U DNT KNW THE FACT!Why are you taking it so personal? Call a spade a spade instead of this confused noise you are making. According to the documentary majority of Nigerian prostitutes in Italy are from Edo. Don't insult commentators but rather blame the producers of the film and the greed that led these girls astray.

how can we Nigerians fix our country when we are not even UNITED Reply
| |||||
Ok, I don't know what the reporter's intentions were when she was investigating on the two issues. But one thing that I'm certain about is that knowledge is power. Even if she had bad intentions, it's now left for we Nigerians to use this knowledge of what is going on in our country and actually do something about it. I don't see the need to fired up about the documentary and start insulting each other or the reporter. Some people including Nigerians may not know what is going on in regards to the high rate of human trafficking in Nigeria, no matter which state the girls come from. So this could be a source of knowledge or enlightenment for Nigerians and others worldwide to "look before they leap." Everything you see and hear, you only act upon it based on the angle you look at it from. Please, all the animosity doesn't help Naija move forward. ReplyAda Mbaise
