In Nigeria, we take two steps forward and five backwards. The President should concern himself less with letter writing, and move the Country forward.
This mentality of "since the past man did not build a road, I do not have to build a road" should be discouraged. GEJ is the President now, so Nigerian problems are his problems. It is now his responsibility to move Nigeria forward. Did he think that being a President is all about traveling round the world? Let us forget about the messenger and face the message. GEJ, earn your pay.

You are right.

Ride on Mr.President.God will continue to protect his own.As for the hawks,Nigerians are watching,Nigerians are wiser. The last time Obasanjo wrote such an open letter to a democratically elected President........what happened???.The Military struck with a coup within months.Times have changed now,for the foolish that do not know that times have changed,go on planning your devilish agenda.Nobody,No Army General or Generals, serving or retired can remove this government.Nobody,No Army General or Generals, serving or retired can stop Goodluck Jonathan from contesting election in 2015.This time around, you and your cohorts will get more than you bargained for, because TIMES HAVE CHANGED.

It's not easy to rule, that's why some are called small (peasant) because they don't bother to know how things are done, they just wanna see result......instead of watching Afrocandy, Omotola, Genevieve, D'banj, Inyana ...etc inside TV, open books and read.....don't come open mouth if you are clueless....

excellent comment broda! i still think there are some reasonable Nigerians out there. let me add to ur comment. is it not someone who start to build a state like Abuja from scratch? when u go to Benin City for example, You will see a very very big difference from the past administrators. This is the kind of change we talking about, total change and transformation we ask from JED and that he promised to give. people build from scratch with same resources and another cannot even renovate at all even with the resources! Too bad!. Politics is sweet mouth. don't take JED word for it. He should Work. He should EARN IT! HE SHOULD MAKE A DIFFERENCE!

Jonathan don born yesterday, he moved to the top small small, which mean you must have some knowledge on the practice of the government to be allowed to act as commander in chief, unfortunately you are weak and useless, we will help you step aside for you to stop complaining that big fish want to catch you

Secondly, Nigerians know the role you have played in my
political life and given the unfortunate tone of your
letter, clearly, the grapes have gone sour.  Therefore,
my side of the story also needs to be told.
