Jealousy sometimes can go beyond loving someone so much. He may be insecure..possessive, which is not good because that always leads to something much more serious than intended. I think you need to have a talk with him and find out why he's like that, at times it could also be from a past experience in a relationship..Jealousy doesn't always mean too much love!
