Award-winning Nigerian music legend, Innocent "2Face" Idibia, has responded to growing online chatter labeling him a “threat,” saying he is baffled by the claims.
In a candid video shared on social media earlier today, the *African Queen* crooner expressed confusion over why some individuals feel intimidated by him, despite living his life privately and on his own terms.
“There is something I want to ask,” the singer began. “I’m in my house, living by my principles and rules. I’m not even near your street or your house—so please, how exactly am I a threat to you?”
The remarks come amid a turbulent period in the singer’s personal life, following his announcement earlier this year of his split from longtime wife and actress, Annie Macaulay-Idibia. The couple, whose marriage had faced public scrutiny over the years, finally called it quits, with 2Face later confirming his engagement to Natasha Osawaru, a media entrepreneur based in Lagos.
