Falconets beat Ghana 2-1

Nigeria’s U-20 women’s team, the Falconets defeated the Black Princesses of Ghana 2-1 in a return leg of the international friendly match played yesterday at the Accra Sports Stadium, Ghana.
The coach Edwin Okon-tutored side were trailing behind by a lone goal in the first half before they scored the two goals in the second half. The Nigerian side lost the first leg played on Tuesday by two goals to three.
The matches were part of the warm-up games lined up for the Falconets in their build to the U-20 Women’s World Cup slated for Japan on August 18.
The Falconets delegation of 18 players and three officials will return home from Ghana today after five days of the two-legged friendly encounter. 
The team are expected to depart the shores of the country for a training tour of South Korea on Wednesday.
