The recently released results by the West African Examination Council (WAEC) have claimed lives in Delta State. Two female students that failed their exams yesterday allegedly committed suicide in Asaba, the state capital.
Reports said the students committed suicide after checking their result in the internet and discovered that it was unfavourable to them. Sources said the victims had written the exams three times without passing their Maths and English Language, which led them to allegedly resolve to commit suicide.
Some persons who spoke to our correspondent on condition of anonymity confirmed that the students had struggled to gain admission into the University in the last few years without success.
Police sources at the “B” Division Asaba said the students were allegedly found dead in their various rooms after a search party that was conducted.

Seriously, becuz of exam. Suicide is never the answer. Life is precious and You only live once. You can't get to success without failing a few times. They shoulda just studied more and tried again til they passed.

If they think failing some tests and answering some wrong answers is a big failure and so serious, committing suicide is also not the answer and is the real failure life for life is also a big test. May their soul rest in peace

Failing an exam does not make anyone a failure...giving up trying again is what makes one a failure..."My people perish for lack of knowledge" Saying they shuld RIP wuld be a waste of typing energy cos by committing suicide, they just succeeded in buying themselves 1st class tickets to HELL

END OF PAIN, FAILURE, DISAPPOINTMENT, FEAR, REJECTION, FRUSTRATION - THAT'S DEATH. Death is beautiful. However taking ones-life is the worse any man can do to himself. They died in pains and will continue in pains for eternity. God help us.
