The following Nigerian musicals have been banned by the Nigerian Broadcast Commission (NBC)  for exhibiting vulgarity and indecency.
Enter the place - 2face Idibia
Dance for me - Duncan Mighty
Suddenly - D’banj
I wanna be close to you - D’banj
Nwa Baby - Flavours
Rigirigi - Flavours
Maga Don Pay - Kelly Handsome
Additionally, Africa Independent Television (AIT) has banned Bigiano’s Shayo from being played on its airwaves.

A lot of musical ban still coming. These guys only sing about sex, drink, weed.

All because we want a dance-hall? No way, enough is enough. No more sex, drink and weeds song again.

Nijja na wa o! how will the industry grow?one thing with my country is no matter how serious a situation is there's always some punk doing politics with it.how i'm i sure this is not one of those stupid Nijja musical politics.why not ban controversial songs and political crabs instead of fun?Nonsense oya ban fella make we see!!!

Nigerians normally wake up too late, how can u ban track that has beenexisting for months in our mkts. those track are a mess to our country. it is too late to ban now because i already have those tracks in my phone PLEASE MAKE IT SO FAST NEXT TIME BEFORE IT ENTERS OUR MARKET PLEASEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!

Its a pity NBC & its officials were sleeping wen these tracks hits our market, these guys hav made enuf doe on thses tracks already.....evry happening guys have virtually all these tracks @ home even on our mobile fones. Am proud to be a naija and wld lov naija mixes, the artist shd jus be cautioned pobably doing it tru d body governing them to sensor these track b4 they hits our market.

Abi na bad tin again to promote our own rap artists? the body shd do their work & to b running after dead shadow..
