Quote from: bekeeuju on 7-03-2013 05:30 PM This is exactly what the so called our representatives over there deserve, how can you tell me they were elected to protect us outside the country rather they keep silent not fighting for our own right,The same thing there are doing in India. Indian will beat A Nigerian citizen to death,Nigeria embassy will not say anything,Last time Terrorist from Pakistan attacked Mumbai-India,they accused Nigerian of the action,Nigeria Embassy did not take any action against the accusation,Police are going house to house in Mumbai arresting innocent Nigerians and will accuse them of drug traffickers, Indians are going house to house beating up Nigerian citizens, telling them to go back to their country, after reporting to the embassy they will not take any action while we are the one elected them to that seat instead of fighting for our dear right they keep mute and allow the country to attack us any how infact they deserve such treatment they received yesterday in Darka-Senegal. a lot of indians are in nigeria,if they do that,u tell ur brodas or ur men at home to beat up there brodas in nigeria too and tell them to go back.after all most of the indians company in nigeria are not paying tax.

Quote from: WhaleDog on 7-03-2013 06:43 AM I'm pleased to say the embassy staff deserved beating to coma.In most cases Nigeria foreign mission contributed more problems to Nigerian in abroad than standing to protect Nigerian rights in their host countries.Next time if they attitude does not change towards their fellow Nigerian ,in my judgement I suggest the whole mission building be burn to ash then a strict message will be sent to the irresponsible government of Nigeria to appoint capable and qualified staff to represent Nigerian abroad. Why would you want the staff beaten to a state of coma? What if someone gets killed? That will not make sense. If we condoned this type hooliganism what signals are we sending to Boko Haram, MEND, Kidnappers and others? They could or should have occupied the chancery in a form of sit-in-strike for days but should not hold any hostages… it would have been more effective and would have received more coverage and sympathy world wild. They were many and had the chance to do so. ……. ..........In my own opinion

Nigerian diplomats in Europe, Americas stranded •Use Ghanaians as fronts to secure accommodation •As FG owes them salaries, allowances ReplyTuesday, 23 October 2012 NIGERIA’S foreign service officials have become the laughing stocks of the diplomatic world in Europe and the Americas following the failure of the home government to remit their salaries and allowances to them as and when due. Investigations by the Nigerian Tribune revealed that in most parts of Europe and the Americas, Nigerian diplomats now have to resort to using Ghanaians as fronts when looking for accommodation because most landlords refuse to let their houses to Nigerians. The issue, according to sources especially in Switzerland, Italy, Canada, United States and Germany, has to do with the failure of the Nigerian Ministry of Foreign Affairs to remit the salaries and allowances of the foreign service staff to the respective embassies and high commissions on time. http://tribune.com.ng/index.php/lead-stories/49642-nigerian-diplomats-in-europe-americas-stranded-use-ghanaians-as-fronts-to-secure-accommodation-as-fg-owes-them-salaries-allowances

‘Nigerian embassies can’t pay salaries, bills’ Since October 2012 ReplySaturday, February 16, 2013 Paucity of funds has hit Nigerian Missions abroad with a number of embassies unable to meet basic responsibilities like the payment of staff salaries, as well as electricity and telephone bills. Saturday PUNCH gathered in Abuja on Thursday that complaints from some of the missions, especially in Europe and Asia, have become more strident. As a temporary measure, some of the diplomats have resorted to dipping their hands into their personal savings or using their credit cards to get by. The more enterprising ones among them, especially non-career diplomats, have reached out to their state governors to advance them funds before remittances are made from Abuja. It was further gathered that some diplomats in Ireland, Canada, Belgium, Germany, United States, Switzerland and Japan are worst hit with the high cost of living in their host countries http://www.punchng.com/news/nigerian-embassies-cant-pay-salaries-bills/

Quote from: tmaxdon on 7-03-2013 08:09 AM I really appreciate the way these guys taught them the lesson of their lives..Nigerian embassy is the only embassy that treat their citizens like worthless people, they brought Nigerian working mentality to everything they do in foreign land(corruption, lack of good services, lack of respect for their citizens etc)..They are very useless. similar thing was done to the Nigerian embassy in Berlin(but no one knows who exactly set the embassy ablaze;but it is obvious it is our people just because the way they treat them) now they changed their attitudes towards Nigerian..I have also heard the way Nigerians are also treated by their own embassy in Madrid. The question is, what exactly are they doing there if they can't protect and serve their citizens? ,it is a shame that things like this have to be done to make our embassies work for our good in abroad. You can't be more right than this. Same thing happen in Bangkok three years ago. The embassy was destroyed by the angry Nigerians who are protesting for their right as a citizen. The Nigerian embassies are full of asinine, brainless, cockamamy, crazy, daffy, moronic and doltish ass moguls. Talking from experience.
