All invited guests and celebrity friends of Tuface and Annie Idibia would “catch the vibes and get the feeling” right here in Dubai, which would host the wedding of the year between the two lovebirds.
The Safinah Ballroom of the Jumeirah Beach Hotel is where the wedding holds. Safinah, an Arabic word meaning ‘large ship or vessel’, characterises our beautiful Dubai banquet ballroom. Located on the ground floor of the conference centre, the Safinah Ballroom features LED lighting, built in projectors and screens, pin spots and various other conference and banquet facilities. The Safinah Ballroom is ideal for banquets and conferences accommodating up to 1,500 guests.
The reception follows immediately at the Royal Island Beach, therefore guest would be conveyed by luxury boats from the wedding venue.
The after party is scheduled to hold at Nigerian owned club, Kiza Nite Club.
Guests at the wedding are lodged in four different hotels namely Frazier Suites, D Atlantis Hotels, Jumeirah Beach Hotel and Burj Al Arab.
Annie and her family, Klieg Light learnt, will stay at Jumeirah Beach Hotel, while 2face, Dbanj, Don Jazzy, Davido, Timaya and Iyanya will be at Burj Al Arab.
D’banj, Faze, Sound Sultan, Tony Tetuila, Dotun Omoteye and Hycinth Idibia will serve as 2face Idibia’s groomsmen with Larry Gaga, the artiste’s childhood friend, being his best man. Annie’s chief bridesmaid will be her very close friend and cousin, Maryann.
The wedding, put at an estimated cost of N50 million, is organised by Oaken Events. While Yvonne Nwosu’s Vonne Couture made the dresses for the bride’s maid, leading Nigerian designer, Mai Atafo, is saddled with the responsibility of ensuring the groom’s men come out looking smashing.
There’s also a travel guide for guest that would be attending the event.
