Hello. I have been dating my girl for about five years now. I proposed to her and she agreed to marry me. However after fixing the date from the traditional Wedding, her parents are asking for five million naira as Bride Price.
I told my girlfriend to appeal to them to at least reduce it to two million but her parents refuse.
They say its an extended family decision like her Uncles and other relatives. I don’t understand. I love my girl and she loves me. She’s from Orlu, Imo State. I need your advice. Thanks

if their family extend ni you extend am?? abi you dey dia when E dey extend?why dem wan come extend the expenses rish where you dey because you fall in love with one the extension abi ni extension wire i go call am?

maybe the girl too young thats why she dey expensive like this.bros first give her chance for at least 10 good years and later come back to ask for her hand in marriage,at that time the family will even beg you to marry her for 100 thousand naira i bet you

Women nawadays i wonder wetin dia uncles wan use money do.. where dem dey when dia papa dey borow money pay her fees.. now she wan marry dem wan chuck head.. pay greatgrand fada tins, grandmama wey don die tins.. footballer tins.. village youth tins.. bla bla bla.. notin we no go see for list... abeg i go advice u look for a good girl from Delta State .. try start somfin with her.. if u r compatible and love eachoda pls dont hesitate to marry her.. its very affordable.. na dem go even use dia money do the ceremony for you, all you got to do is pay the bride price which is not upto a thousand naira.. highest u go spend if u wan spend na 3k.... but be rest assured that God forbid when she dies.. she will be buried in her fathers house.. .

I want to believe her father is no longer alive because this is what u get from wicked uncles that does not want any good thing for their nephews/nieces. Wish her well sha. Make una elope, go begin born pikin for IOU by the time u return with ur kids, dem no go get choice but to accept una even for a cheaper price so that they wont loose everything. Shikina
