Of course the Igbos dominate  the so called Nollywood. I 100% agree with Halima but the Igbos have created and given opportunities to actors from other tribes namely Omotola, Ramsey Noah, Ini Edo, Mercy Johnson and many more. The Igbos have sacrificed their cultures and traditions to reach out to wide markets by adopting English as the DE-factor language for films/movies. Personally, I am not impressed but do understand the business sense to that. You cannot preserve your way of life and expect all to embrace what you have to offer. Halima is frustrated because she believes she has a lot in common with the Igbos and yet not getting the roles she deserves. Interesting to read that she is not a Muslim or Hausa. Keep trying sister and do communicate more. You need to let people feel you and know you after all Mercy Johnson is not better than you. However, Nollywood as you know it is Igbo baby and there isn't a lot many people can do to change that. Watch out for independent producers. I will join Nigeria Film market next year as an international producer having researched extensively abroad over the years.
