To this topic, alms are given to beggars and the like but your tithe must be paid in the church. If you understand the concept of tithing you'll understand that it's for your good. if you want to help others, then you go ahead and help them but please don't tag tithe.

mahn! help those in needs with your tithes, it's biblical ,you tithes ain't even meant for pastors , it's meant for the widows,orphanages and the Levites but the levites are in the past and these livetes are people who serve God but have not personal belongings , the offering is enough the pastors (inbox me if you need biblical references) imagine the joy u will brought into that old widow in ur community if u can help her raise a shelter to cover her head with ur tithe and imagine the happiness u will give to the hopeless orphans hawking in the streets and roads of our country by send them to school with ur tithes, tithes ain't meant for pastor, Jesus Christ never collect tithes even though as a preacher nor did any of his disciple collect tithes when their became apostles


My guy your are talking rot. Tithes and offerings are paid in the church and nowhere else. It's not my business if the pastor uses it to enrich himself or his family members but the biblical injunction is that the tithe must be paid in your local church.

BUT IS IT PROPER FOR A COMON LABOURER,MARKET PEOPLE,TEACHER OR EVEN BANK STAFFS TO BRING THE SMALL 10% THEY SUFFER TO GET,AND TAKE IT TO PASTOR CHRIS OYAKHILOME,TO CHRIS OKOTIE,PASTOR DAVID OYEDEKPO, PASTOR ADEBOYE.AND MANY MORE OTHERS.ANYWAY,ALL THESE MEN HAVE PRIVATE JETS,ASSORTED CARS AND MANSIONS.WHILE THEY DONT HELP THE POOR PEOPLE IN THEIR CHURCHES

Issue of TITHING is standard in the bible, you are suppose to pay your tithe in the church, while helping the needy is also scriptural.
