As you read this, http://odunlade.blogspot.com/ gathered that an angry wife, Mrs Maureen, poisoned her husband, a big businessman in the Asaba area of Delta State, for refusing to give her enough sex at home.
The man is now battling for his life in the hospital. Police say the woman, a native of Benin City, Edo State, married to an Asaba man, is now in custody at the ‘A’ Division for interrogation.
Mrs Maureen had complained bitterly to her relations of the husband’s “lack of segxwal attention” to her, and threatened to make life unbearable for him. Her relations advised her to take it easy, "abi na food?"
But those in the area say the husband allegedly swim in litany of sex scandals especially with married women and in most cases, his victims attack the wife to call the husband to order.
So, it seems the husband was busy playing away match while ignoring his normal duty at home.
The incident took place on Sunday night when the husband returned home late and was perceived to have been drunk, the wife who had prepared his meal, allegedly added a substance and gave him to eat.
He started screaming after the meal and was rushed to the hospital by good neighbours, where doctors say he was suffering from food poisoning.
According to a police source, the wife has confessed to the crime, saying she wants to teach him a lesson.
