The wait is finally over! National team head coach, Stephen Keshi has finally released his 30-man squad list for the forthcoming World Cup. Surprisingly, Osaze Odemwingie made the list (well, a source hinted few weeks ago that he would be considered), while Ike Uche was dropped.
Meanwhile, all invited players are expected to report in camp on May 26. Nigeria will face Scotland in a friendly on 28 May at Houston, Texas; Greece and the United States in June 3 and June 7 respectively. The final 23-man players list for Brazil 2014 will be compiled on 2nd June, 2014.

Forwards: Ahmed Musa (CSKA Moscow, Russia); Shola Ameobi (Newcastle United, England); Emmanuel Emenike (Fenerbahce, Turkey); Obinna Nsofor (Chievo Verona, Italy); Peter Odemwingie (Stoke City, England), Michael Uchebo (Cercle Brugge, Belgium); Victor Moses (Liverpool, England), Uche Nwofor (Heerenveen, Holland).

I have to believe this list is the fake list and the true list would be made available soon. Nigeria will not win Afcon with this list let alone impress in the world cup. Someone has to tell me why Leon Balogun was not given the chance to see what he can do, where is Victor Anichebe's name. I might suppose to believe that Michael Uchebo and Roman Azeez is better than Anichebe, Young Imo Ezekiel. and the little Monster Ikechukwu Uche. Brown Ideye deserve to be part of our team for goodness sake. I love Keshi a lot and i know that NFF has no hands with this list if it's true authentic list we have to execute our matches in Brasil.If he fails with this list i promise Keshi he should be looking for another employment the moment nigeria is knock-out of the mun dual. Ogenyi and the Obi's are a good inclusion in our midfield but we need more bite to go far in Brazil. I hope am wrong with this list.

Yeah, Osaze will be an instrument deliverer in our striking force department.. Good you include him in your squad despite his non chanlant attitude towards you.. He is a product anyway but needs to be reserve.

Bros no be everybody go dey there, it`s just a 30 man list, moreover leon Balogun is not fully recovered yet, Brown Ideye is warming the bench in Ukraine moreover he has a poor form this term, Osaze is match fit and in good form. For Shola , i knew even if he did not play for Newcastle, Keshi would have still taken him, he has a personal likeness for him. Anichebe`s form is not good enough, For Ezekiel, i wonder why Keshi selected him too, but he may not make the 23 man listas well as kunle Odunlami and either Daniel Akpeyi or Chigozie. Those are the predictions i can make for now. Ramon is on good form , and as for Uchebo, he has done more than Anichebo for this season. Anichebe seems to have lost it. For IK Uche, keshi has personal HATRED for him, Keshi would have been ready to resign if he had been forced on him. Bros na so i see things o
