This to me is NOT hilarious  - but silly!

A father is disowning his son however the father is still wanting to be given a CHRISTIAN burial?

What happens when the father dies and he gets to the gates of Heaven and he is told by God to go away as you are NO LONGER my son?

I thought FORGIVENESS and LOVE are the cornerstone of Christian teachings?  

We may not know what made the father go as far as doing this but this will no doubt cause DIVISION within the family for a very long time.

Has he suddenly discovered that he is NOT the father - if so why blame the son?

Or is it over land or a business venture? Or did the son marry a lady outside the tribe? Maybe he has stolen?

I thought the Bible stated among others that - "Father, do not embitter your children, or they will become discouraged."

It is better the differences are sorted now  - so that PEACE will reign long after his death!

There are MANY families all over the country that WISH they had settled all their differences before the "head of the household" died!

Make PEACE - not WAR.
