Roy Keane has said that he regrets apologizing to Sir Alex Ferguson and Carlos Queiroz, over the dispute that saw him leave Manchester United after 12 years.

The former captain of the Old Trafford club, left after an interview with MUTV, where he tore into a number of United stars, including John O’Shea, Alan Smith and Rio Ferdinand.

He was then summoned to a meeting with Ferguson and chief executive David Gill, who told him he could leave the club.
