Ahmad Salkida, Nigerian journalist with access to the leadership of Jama’atul Ahlus Sunna Liddawati Wal Jihad or Boko Haram, gives rare insights into the group’s ideology, modus operandi and gives his recommendations on how this intractable insurgency can be contained, in a Twitter chat. The session was moderated by Akin Akintayo and Dr. Jibrin Ibrahim. I have embedded some of Salkida’s tweets here with their permission.

The session was conducted using the #WhatDoesBHWant hashtag. Follow it, and you’ll find other tweets especially questions and responses not included below.

Salkida’s tweets are very revealing and very frightening, particularly the ones about the link with the Islamic State (ISIS), and how difficult it would be for the Nigerian Federal Government to reclaim territory captured by the group.

Ahmad Salkida is the Jomo Gbomo of Boko Haram. He seems to be well informed and has very believable facts. Doyin Okupe needs to contact him and learn more.

I believe everything about these post, that's means no need of negotiations , prisoners  swap or amnesty. the only solution is to arm our soldiers because whether we like it or not we are in a serious war, these kind of ideology does not need negotiation what it needs is a full time war that's the only way we can bring back peace and sanity to those towns captured by BH .

This guy sound very reasonable. as with other Islamic sect around the world, they never give up. they never surrenders. they never relent and they never end their fight unless you fight them down or defeat them. According to this guy, the only form of negotiation is swap. if they want to learn to do this, they should go ask the Cameroonian govt how they succeeded in theirs.
Secondly, swapping is not the end of the fight. after the swap, govt must be battle ready cos this BH will kidnap more people until, there will be no BH in prison to swap with the kidnap Nigerians. So, i will suggest a strict, fearless and active head of state and determined and fearless army well equipped with modern weapon to fight at least contain this group.
As for those of you saying this poster is lying, well, i sorry for your lack of insight. we are living in a time where every word, rumor, should not be taken for granted. if we are active, i mean very active, the way we acted against Ebola, BH wouldn't have been our primary concern today.
