Pretty Nollywood actress, Funke Adesiyan will be contesting the 2015 election like several of her colleagues including Desmond Elliot, Bob Manuel Udokwu, Kenny Saint-Best, Dayo Adeneye and others.
The actress is gunning for a seat in the Ibadan South-East constituency in the Oyo State House of Assembly and after she kept quiet about her political party all along, she has now officially disclosed the party under whose platform she will be contesting next year’s general elections.
Having obtained her nomination form which she showed off on her Blackberry Messenger over the weekend, Funke has shown ample seriousness that she will be contesting under the People’s Democratic Party (PDP).
Along with 9ice, who is contesting for the Federal House of Representatives, Funke is the other entertainer seeking elective office in Oyo State.
