Pan-Yoruba social cultural association, Afenifere Renewal Group, has accused former President Olusegun Obasanjo of laying the foundation for the problems currently confronting Nigeria.
The group in an electronic mail sent out to journalists over the weekend by its Publicity Secretary, Kunle Famoriyo, noted that though Obasanjo laid the foundation for the problems, the administration of President Goodluck Jonathan was responsible for the worsening insecurity, economic crisis and corruption in the country.
According to him, “With the security of the country at the lowest abysmal region and unbridled corruption eating daily into the fabric of our society, you can smell nepotism all over the place.
“The reign of impunity and terror can be found in President Jonathan’s administration. Even as former President Olusegun Obasanjo created part of the problems confronting Nigeria today, his reign cannot be compared with the clueless Jonathan administration that some people are trying to market to us in Yorubaland.
“We are no fools. President Jonathan has been able to run Nigeria aground economically; he should not be painted as a performing president.”
The group further claimed that Jonathan could not be regarded as an advocate of Yoruba advancement and development, adding that those who “stage-managed the Jonathan endorsement” in Ile-Ife had never been known to be in the vanguard of Yoruba developmental struggle.
“Were Gen. Alani Akinrinade and Mr. Wale Oshun at the Ife Summit? The translation of democracy for us in Yorubaland is a struggle for development. We know the political tendency that cares for our advancement.
“We know the people who still have the milk of humanity flowing in them and whose body language empathises with the people. Jonathan should ride his bicycle to somewhere else in Bayelsa State,” Famoriyo said.

No. Lord Lugard is responsible for our problems. He lumped people of different tribes and language under one roof and said - go in peace and live together!
However its not too late to do something about it. South Sudan did.

You should also blame the army that came to power on January 15, 1966. …let the exodus begin….get the United Nations involved just like South Sudan.

YORUBA'S ARE ALWAYS TRAITORS, GOD HAVE MERCY....THOUGH I NO SUPPORT OGA JONA EITHER...
The real traitors are those who carried out the coup of January 15, 1966. It is a fact than cannot be denied. Stop pointing fingers and don’t blame any tribe for your failure. You betrayed yourselves.

Yes what is happening your country today, we Biafrans saw it early and that was the reason we carried out the 1966 coup, fought the war and we thought that you Yoruba's are people we can trust but a chameleon is always a chameleon. May be in your eye you think that we have lost.NO, I want to assure you that the war and the coup will not be carried out again but GEJ will be the last president that will rule that country. You have to be fully assured that no Ibo man is willing to rule that your foolish country rather they will rule Biafra come 2019 watch and see. My friend the Biafrans are the people engineering that country from economy to social life the way that country is now is the way we want it to be by the time we must finish with you people you will follow and shout let this people go.

*Touch not my chosen people of Biafra, Good to know that Awolowo commited suicide, Benjamin Adekunle died miserably wretched, Obasanjo the chief Yoruba conspiratorial instigator is today visited with his nuclear family disunity, including sleeping with his living Son's wife. Bola Ige died by hired assassins in his home. Obasanjo will definitely commit suicide or die miserably B4 or when Biafra comes. Mobutu Seseseko and Idi Amin's final comeuppance will soon visit Obasanjo the Ugliest Chimpanzee of Africa. The spirit of innocent Biafrans that they exterminated via genocide will continue to chase them. God almighty is never asleep......... .OUR FREEDOM WE ARE SEEKING
They can close the door against me but can't stop me frm coming in
