Bartholomew Owoh, one of the three young Nigerians executed by General Buhari for an offence that did not carry the death penalty is the elder brother of Nollywood actor, Nkem Owoh popularly known as Osuofia, emerging facts indicate.

A source close to the Nollywood actor revealed this to BREAKING TIMES on Thursday on condition of anonymity. According to the source, Nkem Owoh and the rest of his family have not recovered from the trauma of the cold-blooded murder of the three young men, particularly their brother and son, Bartholomew Owoh. continue reading below after the photo..

Bernard Ogedengbe (29), Bartholomew Owoh (26) and Lawal Ojuolape (30) publicly executed by Buhari for a crime that did not carry the death penalty at the time of the offence.

It will be recalled that Buhari, while he was military Head of State promulgated a decree prescribing death penalty for anyone caught for drug trafficking. But the trio of Lawal Ojuolape (30), Bernard Ogedengbe (29) and Bartholomew Owoh (26) committed the offence before Buhari came into power.

The laws of Nigeria at the time the offence was committed did not prescribe the death penalty. When Buhari took over power, he insisted the young men should be executed and they were killed publicly by firing squad.

“Nkem Owoh and his family are so distraught with Buhari for killing their brother at the young age of 26. Every time he sees Buhari on TV, he weeps bitterly over his brother. He can’t even believe that Buhari has the nerve to seek re-election as President”, the source told BREAKING TIMES.

If Buhari can apologise for all these misdeeds done in honest platform because he believed he was doing the right thing then.
I know sorry might not do,but I believe he should do that, bit I doubt if he would do that.
Sorry Mr.Nkem Owo. I can't say I know what you are going through.Sorry.

This dirty politics (mudslinging) will end on FeBuhari 14, 2015 as it is not going to help PDP.
Yes the retroactive decree that executed these criminals was not pleasant
…..but this took place during the military era
….it was unfortunate.
No wonder you have more drug smugglers today in Nigeria than before.
….given the soft drug-smuggling laws
That’s why you have over 80 Nigerians awaiting execution in Asia.
….is Buhari in charge in over there in Asia?

It is also unfortunate that thousands are being killed by Boko-Haram
…..thousands being rendered homeless by Boko-Haram
…..thousands if not millions are jobless and homeless
…..thousands if not millions are not being paid their pensions as far back as ten years
…..thousands if not millions are not being paid their salaries all over the country
…..millions of Nigerians are deprived of basic decent amenities as energy, medical care, good roads and so on
…..also unfortunate that millions of Nigerians are victims of this government
…..also unfortunate that $50 Billion is missing and much more
…..also unfortunate that millions of Nigerians are victims of this government
Has president been able to address these issues for the past six years?
Most of all the aforementioned happened under the watch of our current president.

Hmmmmmmmmm Really after all this years you are just coming out to say this. Am so sure the poster was paid to post this. I need you all to know that the definition of a Military Government.....A military government is generally any government that is administrated by military forces, whether this government is legal or not under the laws of the jurisdiction at issue, and whether this government is formed by natives or by an occupying power. Now we practice a different kinda Goverment known as Democratic System and Definition...A system of government in which power is vested in the people, who rule either directly or through freely elected representatives. Come to think of it, How many people have been dead in the last four years. Explosion, Kidnaps, Crash and all. We all should think wisely before voting. We need a change.
