How can one handle a long distance love affair

Gimac> you have to find a way of handling it so that your rship doesnt tear apart if you truely love the person & also work  towards bridging that gap so it doesnt destroy what you have built. I have been in similar situation and know how difficult it can be, just dont loose touch with each other.

Well my dear, the only way to know what to do is by talking to him, you both have to make out time to talk about your rship, maybe things are tough for him wherever he is, just let him know how it affects you and u listen to him, nobody can give you a better advice than yourself, both of you have to work things out if you want the rship.

jus make sure ur ready to deal with everything that comes along with have a long distance relationship.....it can be difficult at times
