
A day after Emmanuel Adebayor posted the third in the series of revelations against his family member in which he accused his elder brother of once putting a knife to his throat, Tottenham Hotspur FC has reportedly sent the striker on a compulsory and compassionate leave for the second time this season. According to reports, Spurs head coach, Mauricio Pochettino has granted the striker sometime to return to Togo to sort out his personal issues with family from today, May 21, 2015. He is to stay away from training this week as well as the final game of the season against Everton at Goodison Park on Sunday, May 24, 2015 and will not travel on the post-season tour with the team to Malaysia and Sydney. It is believed the club is concerned about the mental state of the former Manchester City striker and has released him so that he can get a grip on himself.
