As the country suffers another fuel scarcity surge and transportation becomes a luxury, the situation seems not to have held back our celebrities from their day to day events and activities outside the country.

Spotted last night at the Murtala Muhammed International Airport were Nollywood peeps, Chinedu Ikedieze, Osita Iheme, Kanayo O. Kanayo, Monalisa Chinda, Patience Ozokwo, Francis Duru, Segun Arinze, Zebul Daya and others.

The Nollywood peeps were all heading to Gambia, for the birthday of president Yahya Abdul-Aziz Jemus Junkung Jammeh, who celebrates today.

The Gambian president who turned 50 has requested the presence of the aforementioned Nollywood peeps as his special guests.

President Yahya Jammeh of Gambia took over power in the 1994 military coup, was elected as president in 1996 and re-elected in 2001, 2006 and 2011.
