ABUJA, NIGERIA - Nigeria's capital Abuja was built without consideration for small shops. Rather, spaces were allocated for shopping malls.
A BBC Africa report says the malls are quite exorbitant for the average Nigerian who wants to run a little shop in his neighbourhood.
However, people are now finding a way around the problem by converting their vehicles into shops, especially in areas where there are no malls or buying anything requires transport.
