With just 4 days to the end of BVN registration for Nigerians in diaspora , the rush is now real ! The registration program started on July 6th and will end on July 20th i.e it runs for 2 weeks . A Nigerian who lives in London  shared his not-so-good experience at the registration venue , read his story below and see photos:

The Nigeria High Commission in London needs an urgent overhaul. This afternoon we Nigerians were treated like animals in Fleet street London all because we want to do BVN for those of us that have accounts in Nigeria. Things soon became chaotic and someone called police on us. They allowed us converge on the street and then locked us out. We are also being forced to pay £30.00 each but none of the officials or the website can explain what the money is for. Is it not free in Nigeria?

The Nigerian government need to step in urgent attention! !!, a lot of  our Nigerian have been victimised. I don't understand why Nigerian will allowed stranger  in nigeria office. They are not fair with nigerians at all. Infact, a few weeks ago I visited fleet Street,  what I saw was unbelievable, I don't understand  why nigeria will keep an Asian in Nigeria office to humiliate Nigerians,  these people dont have regard for our people, thousands of Nigerians are jobless in London, why can't they employ nigerians to do the job.I believe the nigerians can do better than  that. The oppressions and the insults  to the  Nigerians was unimaginable. I had to leave the premises  because I couldn't cope with the  insults from the Asian Indian.  Nigerians need to work together in order to avoid these great embarrassment , Nigerian need to be one. We need to embrace each other.  Our government need to do more to protect our people.
