University of Lagos students, are currently protesting the death of their colleague, who died last night within the school premises.
Despite the heavy presence of policemen and other security personnel, the students have barricaded the entrance of the first gate and there is no passage of vehicles.
It is a scene of chaos, as the students are chanting and some of them are waving leaves and sticks.
A female student of the school was killed by high tension cable in front of Sodeinde Hall of residence on the campus. It was gathered that the female student was walking along the “New Hall” bus stop when a high voltage electric cable fell off the pole, striking her to death. The student was immediately rushed to  the Lagos University Teaching Hospital (LUTH), but gave up before the ambulance conveying her could reach the hospital. Although firefighters were called to the scene, they soon left after taking the victim from the scene, leaving the entire area without cordoning it off or placing caution tape around it.

I can't really see them working out anything, they are used to arriving only after the deed is done...
