Benue State Senator, David Mark had his election nullified by the Appellate Court last week, but he is back on the campaign trail as his campaign team has restarted his campaign.
Following the nullification, the city of Otukpo was flooded with iodized salt, rice and tin tomatoes, branded with the former senator’s image. To follow up, David Mark has also commenced work on four different roads in the heart of the city.
This work just started despite the statesman 16 years as a senator, and being President of the Senate for the past 8.
The rice bags crested with Mark’s picture and inscriptions read, “Vote back senator Mark. If we retain him, the nation will retain us,”. He should share the rice and let the people collect it and at the end let them vote someone else... thats the best thing to do. This man didn't do anything for his people throughout 8yrs as Senate president, becos now he needs their vote, he's bringing rice. Nonsense
