Eckakar is not a cult .  I know this because i am a member of that group . I  have been a member for more than ten years and If indeed it was a cult . I woundlnt have been there for one week
Before I joined the group I  heard all sort of rumours about the secrecy of the group  . People compare it to ogboni and other secret cults like Eiye Black Axe or Aiye.   None of that is true because  Members of ECKankar Hold secret meetings to which the whole world is invited .   


Recently members of EcKankar  celebrated the  50th Year of Briinging the Spiritual Teaching to the World again on the  22nd of OCtober and the 25th Year Anniversary of the Temple of ECK In the ECK Spiritual Centre.    Everything done there was broaccast online which you can check out for yourself .  if you care.  Pls  Go through the Friday Nite program with the link below and you will hear the  "Hu Song "   that this poster  mistook for " Hum "

 The Word "Hu " is the ancient Name for God  and a prayer song that allows the Will of God to be done without control and use of force. It completely neutralizes the negative forces and allows the Will of God to Come clean and Manifest .  Maybe that was what the Girlfriend in question was doing so that  if it is the will of God that things will work out between both of you then the relationship will hold . If not she is willing to let let things Be whichever way God wants it.   

People use the HU to breakdown the spell of witches and wizards and neutralize all the forces of control . The Eckist  (member of ECKankar)  who is a faithful and diligent in his or or her spiritual practice  does not need anyone to collect monthly  tithes from him or her in order for the will of God to manifest in their life.   Witches and Wizards and powers of darkness and cults  fear and Respect practicing ECKists .

If you want to proof me right or wrong .  Keep singing the HU as a regular practice for about  15 to  20 minutes everyday either as soon as you wake up in the morning or before going to bed at night or both.  .   repeating to yourself . after each session .   
 " I surrender myself to God .   Teach me, Guide me and Protect me from all evils and Danger "  - Keep a diary of events in your dreams and daily live experience.
