The opposition party image maker appeared in court today with unusual bushy beards as he faces charges over financial crimes in the tune of N400 million from the arms deal largesse of the embattled former National Security adviser, Sambo Dasuki.
Spokesperson for the People's Democratic Party (PDP), Olisa Metuh was accompanied to court by a retinue of supporters who screamed "Free Metuh" before his arraignment for fraud today, 15th of January before a Federal High Court, Abuja.
Reports have it that his teaming supporters were stunned by his physical appearance with his overgrown white beards and frail body after just 10 days in the custody of the operatives of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commssion, EFCC.
Metuh was arrested by the anti-graft agency on the 5th of January from his Abuja home after an alleged illicit transfer of a sum of N400 million was traced to his company account, Destra Investment company.
The picture above shows how smart and healthy the PDP chieftain looked during his days of affluence and absolute freedom. In comparison with his current physical status, its safe to say 'freedom is indeed priceless' as days with security operatives isn't a happy holiday.

If the law says arrest every politician who stole public money, then arrest all of them - no exception. But if the law says innocent till proven guilty by the court of law, charge them of the offenses, prosecute them, arraign them, set court date and begin court hearing and adjudication. If they are found guilty, let the judge sentence them accordingly. But it is undemocratic and unfair to arrest some people, allow some to walk around freely, grant some bail, refuse some bail and other disparaging discrepancies.

Meanwhile, most of the people in power today are above 50 yrs, they will not live forever, they have families who will still be part of the country when they no more. So all of them should strive to leave image, legacy and integrity that would haunt or affect the future generation. That means, do unto others as u would like them do unto u, today, tomorrow and time to come (including next generations of ours).
