The reportedly missing 2016 National Budget on Monday, December 18, arrived the National Assembly (NASS) Complex at about 11.00 am.

Report said a mini commercial bus with number plate BENUE XA374GTJ transported the Budget copies from an unknown location to complex. It is believed that the copies may have been brought in from a Printing Press.

According to Vanguard, the copies were dispersed to legislative chambers at the back entrance of the complex by the White House.

It was gathered that the copies of the budget were initially off loaded at a corner near the rear entrance of the complex, an unidentified official of NASS later came and inspected the copies before they were later evacuated.

The Chairman on Appropriation, Rep. Abdulmunini Jibrin was said to have stepped into the chamber  at 11.25am, with about five copies which he gave to the speaker, Yakubu Dogara.
