Birnin Kebbi: Unknown Gunmen Kills Wife And Children Of Traders Union Chairman

Residents of Bayan Kara Area of Birnin Kebbi, Kebbi state, were Monday thrown into mourning as a mother and her four children, including her 3-year-old twin children, were murdered in their home. The deceased, according to a widely circulated reports, are the wife and children of a former chairman, Dandare Maibulawus, of the traders union of Birnin Kebbi central market. The incident which took place in the early hours of Monday saw the woman and her children slaughtered to death by unknown men The state Commissioner of Police, CP, Yakubu Jibril, who confirmed the incident, urged residents to assist the police with information that would lead to the arrest of the assailants. Jibril also called on residents to report any suspicious movement of persons around the area. According to Ibrahim Shehu, a brother to the former chairman, the killing occurred around 4:30am when the unknown assailants stormed his brother’s house at Bayan Kara’a suburb in Birnin Kebbi. Shehu said his brother travelled to Cotonuo, Benin Republic when the incident occurred. A funeral prayer which saw Governor Bagudu and the Emir of Gwandu and hundreds of others in attendance was held for the victims on Monday at the Emir of Gwandu’s Palace in Birnin Kebbi. Governor Abubakar Atiku Bagudu of Kebbi State, speaking during a condolence visit to the family, thanked the team of security experts for their swift response and also directed them not to relent until they get the perpetrators of the crime. The Governor, however, expressed disgust and agony over the tragic incident which he described as ‘heinous.’

Chaaii,too bad,why should a person murder a mother&her three children? It will never go well with the people that did this,even if the head of the family,mean the man of the house did something wrong to any person or group,must you take revenge this way? The blood of the innocent must not allow the evildoers to go free,what nonsense.
