These are the group of women known as the 'Black Mambas', who are risking their lives every day to protect endangered species in South Africa. The female warriors who strive to protect animals from poachers hands. On their daily patrols around the Balule reserve, near Kruger National Park, in SA -they face the very real prospect of being gunned down by poachers or mauled to death by the animals they swore to protect.
