Nigeria To Send Astronaut To Space – Nigeria will have sent astronauts to space before 2030, according to Minister of Science & Technology, Dr. Ogbonnaya Onu.
Dr. Onu said this during a visit from the Director-General of the Defence Space Agency, Air Vice Marshall Victor Udoh and other members of the management team.

According to Onu, the Federal Government was working actively already to make sure Nigeria had sent an astronauts into space by 2030.
“The space programme is very important for a country like Nigeria,” he said. “The ministry will work very hard in the years ahead to strengthen all the structures of the agencies that will help us to ensure that the nation plays a role in the space,” he said.
He added that space “is a major asset which nations like Nigeria must also be involved in for the purposes of protecting national interest.”

Mr Onu. You are one of the bigest disgrace of Igbo nation. As the first executive governor of Abia state there is nothing you can point out as your achievement. Now as a minister you have started some estimation of 2030 which by then who knows if you will still be alive. Better talk about electricity. Fake and clueless government .

Naija don dey go space longtime ago but most of una know dat anyway. E get one witch for my village wey dey take regular trips to d moon so going to space no be big deal to am....Dem don nominate how many of dem go chop d money...
