FINALLY!!! Kidnapped Channels TV Reporter Regains Freedom

The Channels TV Journalist whose kidnap was widely publicized, has been released by the abductors.

Mr. Tope Kutiyi, the kidnapped Channels Television correspondent, has been released.
 
This development was made known by management of the Television station on Wednesday.

It would be recalled that Kutiyi, in the early hours of Monday was kidnapped by unknown armed men at his residence in Federal Housing Estate, Umuguma area of Imo state.
 
Meanwhile, the abductors who spoke with a friend of the victim had earlier demanded a ransom of N15 million.
 
It’s, however, unclear if the said amount was paid to secure the journalist’s release.
