Bodies of 8 persons who lost their lives in an accident yesterday along Lagos – Ibadan Express way while on a mission to represent Kano in the National Quiz Competition in Lagos, arrived Kano this evening. The students and bodies were received at Kano International Airport by the State Governor, Dr.Abdullahi Umar Ganduje and other state officials.
Information available indicated that 3 students of Unity School Karaye and 3 from Kano Kapital as well as a driver and coordinator of competition lost their lives in the accident.
A total of 8 persons lost their lives: 6 students and two officials while 5 students sustained some degree of injuries.

God will not forgive Kano state Government. So they have the money to fly the students dead bodies? Why didn't they put them to flight when they were going knowing its quite a distance and they were going to Lagos to represent the state? This is just so sad. May their souls RIP
