bamz3 at 1-02-2010 11:49 AM (15 years ago) (m) The saying “nobody comes to Abuja to look at Zuma Rock” is quite popular among these “distinguished” love-peddlers. Colourfully dressed young women in provocative-attires making segxwal offers and waiting for a potential male customers have invaded major districts in the Federal Capital Territory. Theirs is an “aggressive marketing” of their product. “The police should leave us alone, we are not criminals. We know about HIV/Aids, STDs and other diseases associated with this profession. We always use protection and go for our medical checkups every month. As for the risk of getting killed, most of us are security conscious in our operation,” a prostitute who refused to give out her name lamented. One Thelma Odukuo who calls herself a first-class prostitute said: “Prostitution can never be eradicated in Abuja, because more girls are moving down here on a daily basis. This is where the politicians are. We all know these men know how to have a good time and they pay huge sum of money. Sometimes for just being a company for a night, the offer is mouth-watering. No prostitute is willing to leave here for another city. If they want us out of the streets, they should tell men not to patronize us, which is not possible because this is a profession that is as old as mankind.” I just pray God deliver them, If we look at it critically they are aware of the deadly diseases, and see most of them are graduates, undergraduates, and still proud of what they do, but wait if they don't really want to be a responsible fellow in the society do you think they will strive to even go to the institution again cos this baffles me, knowing that you want to prostitute then why go to the institution again, of is there degree for prostitution again in 9ja institutions? And my fellow brothers, please let us hol body na, get a stable gf or get married so this girls won't entice you and tempt you to patronize them again haba! cos it is madness to me for me to make my money and pay to suffer and sweat out myself when i have a wife at home rubbish. I don't fault dem gurls anyway, cos if they don't have customers like the men, dey can't sex fellow women, so therefore there won't be business as usual for them. kinkyebony at 2-02-2010 10:37 PM (15 years ago) (m) Legalize prostitution, provide enough BROTHELS for them, give them good orientation, good medicares and check-ups, be collecting taxes from them, put them in BROTHELS where they suppose to be, and they will stop causing nuisance in the streets of Nigeria. Then the "Ministry of Justice" will enforce law against ILLEGAL prostitution. After this, the government will be justified to arrest any person practicing ILLEGAL PROSTITUTION. The leaders should take care of this, and remain focused to their citizens. Posted: at 2-02-2010 10:37 PM (15 years ago) | Gistmaniac

saintalexo at 3-02-2010 08:20 AM (15 years ago) (m) we need to learn how to hit the nail on the head, this is simply product of a bad government policy and a sign of collapsed economy. like one of the prostitute said she's a student of university of Abuja , definitely she's supporting herself . " it's simply product of Nigeria economy and moral standard in the country". I LOVE MY COUNTRY NIGERIA. Posted: at 3-02-2010 08:20 AM (15 years ago) | Newbie
