These photos show Theresa May formally accepting the position of Britain’s second Prime Minister.
She is shown kneeling before the 90-year-old monarch in Buckingham Palace just a few minutes after David Cameron officially handed over. She will now head back to Downing Street for her first address as premier. In the pictures below, May is seen with her husband as well as making a speech in front of Number 10 as the second female Prime Minister of Great Britain following Margaret Thatcher.
