Public Health Minister Gabriel Wikstrom said the last full study of Swedes' s3x habits was 20 years ago - and media reports and surveys now indicated a decrease in s3xual activity.
Wikstrom told the country's Dagens Nyheter newspaper: "It is important to find out how much less s3x Swedes are having, and what the reason is.
"If stress and other health issues are affecting Swedes' s3x lives, then that makes it a political problem."
