abusive relationship?

Why do some woman stay in abusive relationship? is it because they loose self-confidence?

there are many reasons. some are scared, some like it they believe am man who loves them will beat them. some loose self confidence, some blame themselves, some thats all they know and others are so in love before it happens that they are so in denial that they live in the past that relationship
