FOR ME,...I THINK IS BECAUSE OF CULTURE...WHEN SHE LEAVES HIM,...SHOULD WOULD ONLY BE KNOWN AS THE GIRL WHO RAN AWAY FROM HER HUSBAND AND THUS,...WOULD NOT MAKE A GOOD WIFE....SO SHE STICKS TO IT...AND SOMETIMES,...PARENTS MAKE THEM....(NIGERIAN MOVIES)

Cld be alot of reasons,her upbringing that divorce is no option,fear of the unknown{might not find another "good" guy},cos of her children if its a marriage.....cos she thinks its acceptable/a sign of love etc, the list goes on
